Ark Skincare System

I was lucky enough to be chosen by Ark Skincare to try out their age-specific skincare line. The brand is made in England and targets specific age ranges to help protect and nourish skin.

I was given the opportunity to try the Skin Perfector Hydration Injection Masque and Age Defend Replenishing Moisturiser. The first thing I noticed about this product was the scent. It’s not overpowering but light and kind of sweet smelling. So it’s not a bad scent at all.

The hydration injection masque is only used a few times a week, whereas the moisturiser is used twice daily. The hydration masque is applied after cleansing and left on for a specific amount of time, depending on your age. For my age, it was left on for about 10 minutes.

After the time is up, using a hot cloth you remove the hydration masque and pat dry. Then you would continue with your skincare routine ending with the moisturiser which you simply apply to your face. After using this my face was very soft. I haven’t noticed a difference as of yet for fine lines, but I’ve only been using it for a short time.

I think the only thing I don’t like about this is that the moisturiser doesn’t have sunscreen in it. Of course, it’s easy enough to add that afterward so this is really not a big issue. I love that this brand uses an age-targeted formula for different ages because we know that what the skin needs in your twenties is not the same as what your skin needs in your forties or fifties.

Have a great day!
