If you have read any of my blog, you know I love essential oils. Of course we want to have and find the best oils available for use otherwise we get junk which doesn’t work. I know that many of us have had that issue before. You order an essential oil that is supposed to be pure only to find that it really isn’t.
This oil says that it has been certified through gas chromatography/ Mass Spectrometry. This is a process that tells exactly what is in an essential oil. It breaks it down to it’s compounds and can show how pure an oil is. Of course this is usually something that you can’t do at home. I am not sure however, if a company can claim this fact even if it’s not the case. I have always used the paper test to check the purity of my oils. An essential oil that is pure should not feel oily or leave an oily residue on white paper. You can see my paper test below. By this I would say this oil is not a pure oil.
