In The Shadow of Denali By Tracie Peterson and Kimberley Woodhouse
In The Shadow of Denali takes place in Alaska, 1923, when it really was a wild country. A man is on his way to a new job in search of answers. The problem is, he may not like the answers he gets.

This book is great! It starts off in 1917 when a man takes two others to the top of Denali. Only two of the three men come back.
The book then turns to 1923 and the son of the man who didn’t make it back is trying to find answers to his father’s death. His father was an experienced climber and should have made it back alive. However, his father’s friend and business partner, (the other man who went on the climb in 1917) has told everyone that the man responsible for the death of Allen’s father is still walking free in Alaska. Allen wants to find out why and what happened.
Allen faces many challenges in finding the answers he seeks and almost dies himself in trying to get those answers.
My Thoughts on the Book
I don’t know a lot about Alaska, especially at the time the book was written, but once I started reading this book, I could not put it down. You can get this book Here on Amazon or click the link below (It’s the picture of the book below the signature).
If you like action/adventure type books, you will love this one. If you read it let me know. I would love to know what you think about it. Personally I couldn’t put it down.
