The Moving Vietnam War Memorial Wall

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Careful.”

I know that I was not alive at the time and did not know anyone who served during the Vietnam War, but I am, however, very thankful for those who did and are currently serving our country. I had the amazing opportunity to see the traveling Vietnam War Memorial War this year when it came to Arizona.

I can only imagine the care this family took in placing this picture and the flags to remember their family member who lost his life in the war. A man who died way to soon, but did so in defense of his country. The men and women who serve are the most courageous people and we need to stand behind them no matter what. Thank you to all who have and are currently serving for protecting me and my family.

Have a great day!

  • What a humbling experience that must have been. I would have been in awe to see such a feat. Thank you for sharing it.

    • It really was. If you ever have the chance, do it! Some of the vets that were there had some amazing stories. Not a day I will forget for a very long time.

      • I imagine it will stay with you forever, as it would me also. I’ll make the time!!
